The first time I put her in it, she was not a happy camper. She fussed for all of 5 seconds though. The moment I got the zipper all the way up and snapped her up, her eyes immediately got very heavy. She was asleep within 5 minutes. Within a couple of days of seeing how well she slept in her Woombie, I was able to move her from my bed into her bassinet, still only a couple feet from my bed. She now sleeps through the night from about 6 or 7 p.m. (and so do I) until about 4 or 5 a.m. when she wakes up only long enough for me to put her in the bed next to me, put her pacifier in her mouth and then she sleeps until 6 or 7 a.m. Without hesitation, I can say that this product is my miracle and I am a strong supporter. My family first discovered the woombie when my daughter (2yrs old in March) was only 4 weeks old. Nothing we tried before the woombie kept her bundled, so we were up ALL night! Once we zipped her up in the woombie, she started sleeping all night and we never had another issue. Since that first night, she's had a woombie EVERY nap time and night time since. January 11, 2013 was her first night without a woombie since she was four weeks old as she has now outgrown your "MegaBaby" woombie. (I'm pretty sure it was harder on me than her! LOL) I have claimed from the first night with woombie...to the last night...that is THE MIRACLE SWADDLER! Thank you so much for helping me with my sweet girl for nearly 2 full years of swaddling and peace at night! Laura, Azusa, CA Our son is 5 months old and has been breaking out of his swaddle for a couple of weeks now. He used to sleep peacefully through the night (10-11 hours), but this caused him to wake up crying every few hours. After too many nights of oft-interrupted sleep, I bought a couple convertible woombies for him. Last night was his first night in it (with both arms inside) and he slept the whole night again, just like before! 7pm-6am! My husband and I were so happy this morning. I'm excited to have a product that can hold him in the swaddle for a bit longer and can also transition with him once he can roll while in it. Many, many thanks from one happy family! |

Krishna Hanson I just had to tell you that I am in love with your product and will definitely recommend to any other parents. I was getting anywhere from 45minutes to 90 minutes of sleep at a time for 10 weeks. Then, I tried the Woombie! The first night my boy slept the first 6 hours without waking! The second, 5 hours! It has been a God send. At first I was not impressed because he seemed to hate being confined so tight. So I gave up within 30 minutes and took it off. Then I read somewhere online that babies do seem to not like it, but once asleep, they will sleep better. So I tried again, and it was well worth it! Thanks Woombie!

Christina Pana I have purchased all of the "popular" swaddles for my daughter, only to find that she pulls the material up towards her mouth with her busy hands. This in turn created a bulging zip which she would bury her face in and knock out her dummy. What's more, she always seemed to get agitated with the fit of them. I always resorted to double wrapping her in muslin wraps. At 6 months of age and hundreds of wasted dollars later, I discovered the woombie. Brilliant! These are the things that make it a cut above the rest: - the material isn't flimsy. It feels firm yet comfortable. - the zipper stays straight no matter how hard she tries to wriggle her arms up. Therefore Dummy stays in tact. - the shape of the woombie just seems to work in a way that no other swaddle did. - for some reason, she doesn't get flustered when I zip her up, as she did with the other swaddles. She obviously feels comfortable. No other swaddle compares to the woombie. Thank you.

Talia Goldstein I just wanted to say thank you so much for this amazing creation. My first child was very colicky and this was a life saver. He's now 2 1/2 and became a wonderful sleeper. My second child (she's 3 months)refused to sleep out of my arms until we tried the Woombie. Once again, instant success! I thought that she was getting too old to be swaddled because she can roll, so I tried to have her sleep on her own this week. Big mistake! We were up at least once every hour. She would cry as soon as her back touched the crib and her arms and legs go flying in all directions throughout the night. I put her back in the Woombie last night and she slept from 8pm to 5:30am. My daughter is extremely active and the Woombie helps calm her down and keep her asleep. I'm so convinced that the Woombie is a necessity for my daughter to have healthy sleep, that I just bought the next size up. Thank you again! |

Jamie Baldwin Hello! I just wanted to let you all know that I tell EVERY new mom about the Woombie. I did not know about them when my 3 1/2 year old was a baby, but my son is almost a year old and I exclusively used Woombies on him from the minute he was born. I LOVED that they never rode up. With the other swaddles I would lose sleep about my daughter maybe loosening them and they would be up around her face and neck, but with the Woombie it stayed put 100% of the time which gave this mama such peace of mind. I lend my Woombies out constantly, sure that once a swaddler goes to a Woombie they'll never look back! Thank you for creating a superior swaddle product...I will continue to sing Woombie praises to all new moms and moms-to-be!

Catherine Crawford Burnett the houdini woombie has been a LIFESAVER! we used it for a few months and felt it was time to move to the next stage {we used the Baby Merlin} but it didn't take too long before we realized how much our baby NEEDS his woombie. it is truly a lifesaver. he had started crying when we laid him down for sleep, he would wake frequently and never sleep long periods of time. so we went back to the woombie and IMMEDIATELY did away with the waking 2 times in the night and ridiculously short naps during the day. baby is sleeping like a champ again and so are we!!!

I just wanted to thank you for so many things but most importantly for my happy baby. She desperately needs to be swaddled to sooth and the Woombie has done that for her. Thank you for encouraging me to try the Houdini. I'm not sure between the Houdini and original which one she prefers yet (last night she slept 10 hours in the original!!). I will be ordering more as soon as I find out. Second, thank you for letting me come meet you at the warehouse. It is truly customer service. Let me start by saying THANK YOU!!!!! My darling 4 month old baby loves/needs to be swaddled to sleep, but she has broken out of every swaddle. When she was first born we used the SwaddleMe brand, while great, like majority of the other reviews mention the Velcro sucks and to top if off my little one would wiggle her arms out and then wake up and cry. We then switched to the miracle blanket, which likes its name mentions was a miracle; however, this too should pass. After about a month she was wiggling enough and learned how to unpin her arms and unwrap the swaddle which would then trigger the cries! I was at my wits end and was going to suffer for a week or two until she learned to sleep without it, but I decided to research swaddles anyway. I looked at the Halo sleep sack, but she was too old for the swaddle one and I definitely couldn't have her arms flaling about. All the others were just a slight change from the other two I had tried and knew that wasn't going to work. I landed on the Woombie and debated for a week or two after more sleepless nights I finally ordered the convertible in hopes to also use it as a weaning tool when we are ready. Like all the other reviews mentioned: I wish I would have found Woombie first!!!! We put it on her tonight and it took a minute to get used to but she loves it and no amount of wiggling will free her arms. I just hope that other people can read this and know this review is real. I love this product and would have saved myself over a hundred dollars on those other USELESS swaddles if I had found this first. I will be praising you guys until kingdom come. Can I tell you how much I love the woombie? I'm a mom and a pediatrician ... my daughter has wicked bad reflux, so at 6 months she still sleeps upright ... until I had to do it myself, I never realized how hard it is to secure a swaddled child in a carseat, bouncie seat, nap nanny ... I love the double zipper woombie! I zip her up to feed her, and then unzip from the bottom to strap her in and she sleeps like a dream! Thank you for being so smart! Dr. M. Small |

Ethan is almost 6 months now. He has been in the hospital for almost 3 months. He was born with a heart defect that was repaired in May. He has had some complications since that surgery but doing well. He is a trooper. The Woombie has to be the best sleep sack on the market by far. I have had to order about 4 of them since they seem to get dirty pretty fast. All his nurses & doctors just love seeing him swaddled up like that. We have 3 toddler eco donuts at our home for our 5, 4 and 3 year olds. This is the most convenient thing ever--- for late night crashes in mom's room ,movie night, etc. They all love it, they are soft, comfortable and we take them everywhere where the kids may need a nap or for sleep overs. Thank you so much for your help on getting the right Woombie for my daughter. Since we received it she has worn it every night and loves it!! Her sleeping time has slowly increased a couple extra hours at night (average of 7 hours). The newborn size works perfect but I will be ordering the big baby soon.
I have highly recommended you to my best friend who is due with her baby this month. I wish I would have had one for my Londyn when she was born.

| The woombie works FANTASTIC and we love it. Leaving the zipper just below the snap closure makes it more comfy for her large neck and cranium. Thanks for the advice, feedback and we are a WOOMBIE family, just went out and bought three more newborn sizes. As her cranium and neck grows, we will advance to the larger sizes based on her weight. Truly appreciate your response, advice and amazing swaddler. The nightmares of loose blankets and constant wrapping and unwrapping are over. I just wanted to say viva la Woombie! Chase is almost 4 months, and loves being swaddled. However, he's a strong little dude...we used swaddlemes from birth to a few weeks until he started breaking out of those. The Miracle Blanket was a godsend until the past week; we would find him all tangled up in it no matter how well we wrapped him up, and this was a scary sight! A woman at a salon had raved about the Woombie a few months ago, and we just received our lil' Houdini yesterday. While Chase has always been a great sleeper, I expected a transition period to this new swaddler. Not the case! He slept all night, snug as a bug! Abbey Sleeping like an ANGEL in her Woombie! I just wanted to send a note to say that the convertible woombie really worked well for my daughter. She is 7 months old and it was time to wean her off her woombie. She loved her woombie and it is something that has been a lifesaver since the moment we received it in the mail! I knew it would be a challenge to wean her off so when I saw the convertible woombie on your website I felt a bit of relief. I must admit I waited to order because I had already purchased 4 woombies and was hesitant to spend more money but I am sure glad I did. Having 2 bad sleepers, day and night, who didnt sleep longer than 40 mins at a time, I was determined to try something different this time. My mum was introduced to the Woombie by a friend and my 3rd daughter is sleeping between feeds, day and night, settling herself, sleeping for up to 3 hours at a time!! Loving our Woombie!| To Whom It May Concern, I wanted to take a moment and write you to express how much we love your Woombie product. When our daughter was two months old we gave up trying swaddle blankets and other swaddles. My lil houdini could get out of her blanket swaddle no matter what we tried and after we woke up to find the blanket bunched up around her neck I refused to use it again. We then tried several other swaddles yet none worked. My daughter could not sleep if herarms were loose, if her arms were loose she rubbed her eyes and woke herself up. One day I came across Woombie and did a little research on it. Although I couldn't find much information, I didn't find any negative reviews or recalls (with so many baby items being recalled I had to check) so I decided to get one. From the day we first used Woombie our daughter slept through the night. Woombie has been a lifesaver for us, it allowed our daughter just the right amount of movement to bring her little hands up to her chin/mouth but eliminated the startle reflex and our daughter rubbing her . At ten months old our daughter is attached to her Woombie the way many little ones are attached to a lovie or blankie. I actually just blogged about our first night of "saying goodbye" to Woombie. As much as she loves it, its time for her to come out of it. I have actually considered letting her sleep with it as her lovie/blankie. Your product is amazing and a must have for any parent. I recommend Woombie to all of my friends, I even had one friend try out Woombie at my suggestion and she now loves it as well. I just wish you had a product that helped transition her out of the woombie :) Thank you for such a wonderful product! Just wanted to say Thank you for such an awesome product!! My son is 4 months old and hadsnt slept thru the night in 2 months. I purchased it because it is the only swaddle product I have found for a big baby. My son is 20lbs and 28 in, I got the Mega baby size and he still has room to grow in the Woombie. We have been using it for a week now and he has slept thru the night every night with this!!! I am finally getting some sleep again! Literally I got the woombie yesterday for my 2 month old. I threw it in the wash with his laundry. Took it out today when he remained fussy despite all my efforts to make him sleep, swaddled him and zipped up. Sat on the rocker and fed him milk and within minutes he was totally peaceful and off to sleep. I had the pressure cooker on my stove that whistled a couple of times. He was fine. It's been about a month now since I ordered our first Woombie, and I just wanted to say THANKS! After lots of sleepless nights, night #1 with the Woombie we all got 6 hours of sleep! While my first born was perfectly content to sleep in a swaddle, Charlie would wiggle out of it every night. The result was miserable for all of us. The most we had gotten previously was 4 hours. She's now a great little sleeper, and we're moving her into the convertible Woombie as she's just starting to roll over. | Hi! I just have to start by saying that "The Woombie" is one of the greatest swaddling products around! It has saved my sanity with my most recent addition. With my last colicky daughter we tried everything and finally stumbled upon the Miracle Blanket. (I hadn't heard of the Woombie back then). It was my saving grace! We finally got sleep and so did she. It was wonderful! So when my 9 lb 6 oz baby boy came into the world I was so excited to use my Miracle Blanket again! But there was one problem. This supposedly "escapable" Miracle Blanket didn't work for him. He was so BIG and so strong that he would unwind himself and startle himself. I didn't know what to do! How could my beloved "Miracle Blanket" not work like it did for my daughter? So a friend of mine had a woombie and suggested I try it. I did and from night one I LOVED it! My big boy could not escape and he LOVED it!!!! There was no WAY he could escape it and he slept so much better and as a result obviously so did we! (Granted it was pink and hubby had a HUGE problem with our boy being in pink, but I didn't care! HE slept.) We haven't been able to afford another one as I am a new stay at home mom and have lost a huge salary so Pink it is! I have recently had to switch him over to a halo sleep sack because he was now rolling. For my son our saving grace was your Woombie! Dear Woombie Company, This has been a long time in coming but I am glad that I have finally remembered to sit down and write this. I saw the woombie on a half-off site, had read about them, and even mentioned them to others who had found great success with them. I purchased two (one through the half-off site) and had one ready to use in the hospital. It was great. Our second daughter was born at the end of August at 37 weeks. After going home her jaundice numbers went up. Wanting to avoid a hospital stay the peditrician had a billiruben blanket. This may have been a bit more difficult to use with other swaddle blankets and would have made for zero sleep. However, as you will see in the attached picture the Woombie was PERFECT for our situation. If only every billiruben blanket came with a Woombie! | Just wanted to thank you for this wonderful product! My daughter needed to be swaddled but was always breaking through her traditional swaddle blankets. I was going crazy trying to find something that would work, not to mention exhausted from sleepless nights. I was hesitant to buy another product but after yet another sleepless night I made the plunge a bought her the Original Woombie. Am I ever glad I did! At 8 weeks she quickly began sleeping 5-6 hours per night, way more than expected. In fact, she started to get excited when I would put her in the Woombie. I recently noticed that she was trying to suck on her hands in her sleep so I tried to ween her from the Woombie. She was not happy! Instead I just purchased the Convertible Woombie. I am confident this will help her transition, while at the same time allow Mommy to get some sleep. Thank you for this amazing product. I don't normally thank companies for their products, but I just have to tell you how much my 8-week-old little boy (and his mommy and daddy!) loves his Woombie! Ever since it arrived he's been sleeping 9 hours straight at night, followed by another 2-3 after a quick nurse! He previously woke up every 3-4 hours and busted out of his swaddling every time. I want to share a story with you... Our Little Guy was born on Tuesday, April 6th and as expected he didn't sleep throughout the night and even if he had we would have woken him every three hours to nurse. We came home on Friday, April 9th and my Woombie was in the mail. Being particular about items I had to wash it before using and didn't need to do his laundry for 2 days so he didn't wear it immediately. The first two nights he cried a lot and we pretty much camped out in the baby's room as we were needed often. We were stressed and my husband asked if we should call somebody to see what to do. Well, the 3rd night home rolled around and The Woombie was clean and ready to wear. Our Little Guy didn't wake up on his own but we did wake him every 3 hours for a feeding and he went back to sleep immediately!! Over the next week we were exhausted and 'overslept' the 3 hour feedings, at one point he slept for 5 hours straight!! We went for his 2 week appointment and the doctor said he could sleep through the night since he was back to his birth weight, we thought this was a joke... Low and behold, he slept from 10pm until 8am. This happened the next night, and the next, and now that Little Guy is over 7 weeks old my husband and I do not know what sleep deprivation is!!! A friend introduced us to the woombie and it has been a great sleep aid. His day care likes it too, because they weren't very good at swaddling and were a little worried our son wouldn't take good naps. Now they just zip him up and he naps like a champ. We got our woombies two days ago and we're super impressed! When I tried to explain what a woombie was to friends and family they seemed confused but as soon as they saw her in them and how content she is in the Woombie, everyone thinks they're great and wishes they had invented them! I looked at them when I was pregnant and wished I had bought them so I would have had them from day one instead of constantly struggling with swaddling in blankets, I only lasted one month before buying the Woombies and I am so glad we just did! Hi Karen, I hope all is well. My husband and I wanted to let you know how well the woombie is working! We love it! Our baby girl, Angela wears her woombie every night and is an excellent sleeper. She was born on Feb 21st and since the day she came home from the hospital she only wakes up 1 time (2:30am) to eat and then she goes right back to sleep. I just wanted to tell you that if it wasn't for my Mother in law finding out about the Woombie & insisting on getting one for her 1st Grandson, I would still be dealing with short 'cat naps' with my son. What a MAJOR difference it makes in just extending his sleep time alone!! Not to mention how much more peaceful he is when he is asleep because his little arms are no longer flailing around or his fingers poking at his face - all of which startles him awake when he's not in his Woombie. Now he can comfortably (and safely) sleep for double the time he ever use to before we got the Woombie! I've already ordered one for my cousin, who is due to have her baby girl any day now and hope she loves it as much as my baby Caden & I do! What mother wouldn't - extra sleep is such a blessing. And the Woombie Donut is fantastic I might add! I love how I can move it from room to room so easily and he doesn't notice a difference as he's always in 'his bed', even if it's in a different room or not in his crib. Excellent for military families such as ourselves as we're always bouncing from place to place. | I've been meaning to write you for a while to say how much I LOVE the Woombie. It is absolutely the BEST swaddler anywhere and, without a doubt, enabled us to get some sleep. Our son was one of those Houdini babies with a strong startle reflex who could get out of any swaddling blanket we tried; he is also a big boy who quickly outgrew any swaddling blanket would could find. Additionally, he's a hot baby, and so many blankets are just too heavy. Offering the Woombie in different fabrics is fantastic. We discovered the Woombie during a desperate 3 a.m. online search for something that would contain our big baby who had to be swaddled to fall and stay asleep. Thank you for creating such a wonderful product! I wish I had found this when my first son was born! My daughter was born at 34 weeks and I started using the woombie with her after she came home from th NICU. It took a little while for her to grow into the newborn size and get used to not being swaddled so tightly, Now she just loves it! All of my children have been able to get out of every swaddle blanket I ever used so I was real excited to find the woombie! I truely believe that swaddling is the best for little one's expecially preemies, this blanket has allowed me to keep Isabella swaddled pretty much all time. | Dear Woombie, I received my Woombie Tuesday and tried it out Tuesday night. For the first time, my eight-week old slept for longer than 3 hours. Actually she slept from 8pm until 2:30am and from 3am until 8am!!! Last night she slept from 8pm until 3am and 3:30am until 8am. I am in heaven and apparently so is she in her Woombie! We tried the Miracle blanket...I think her arms would fall asleep and she'd wake herself up after a few hours fighting to move. I have been meaning to email you for awhile, but you have an amazing product! I love the Woombie so much I just ordered another winter one for our daughter and one for a baby gift. I ordered a couple of these wraps before my daughter was born in September and I took the advice of many on your website and started to use it right away in the hospital. The wrap sure got a lot of attention; even the doctors were amazed by it because they had never seen a wrap like yours. It would instantly calm our daughter in the hospital once we put her in the wrap and as a mother your wrap gives me peace of mind while she's sleeping, I've never had to worry about a blanket getting over her face. I swear by swaddling and swaddled our son but it was with a blanket so I am so glad I found your website before I had my daughter. Best of all I feel this wrap has greatly attributed to her amazing newborn sleep habits. Yes I said amazing for a newborn, she wakes up once during the night and I swaddle her for her afternoon nap and she sleeps four hours while my son sleeps. I don't think she would sleep that long if she wasn't swaddled. Our son didn't mind being tightly wrapped but without the Woombie our daughter would not like it, because of the Woombie she is able to sleep with her hands up under her chin where she prefers them and she is able to stretch and move without startling herself awake. The only thing I don't like about the Woombie is that I didn't invent it, it's such a simple concept! For the first time since her birth (nearly 4 weeks ago), I am able to put her down and do some house chores with both hands free! She became content and sleepy the moment I put her in her woombie and has been happily napping on and off in her own bassinet for the last 2 hours. Hi Karen! My sister told me about the Woombie and since I'm a huge fan of swaddling I had to get a few! My son Kyle is 5 days old today and he LOVES his Woombie! I'm a mom of three and for the first two I used the other swaddle blankets on the market. None of them come close to the Woombie – he looks more comfortable in this because he's got the ability to move his arms around a bit, but he can't get them out. AWoombie lounger (donut)… and I tried it out for the first time today while we were cooped up in the house due to crapola weather. Lil loves to have people and things dangle over her face when she's lying on her back. Playing with her in the crib was getting old… the boppy is getting boring… and the hardwood floors of our apartment are a little hard on mama's knees. So I pulled this number out of the closet and gave it a try — awesomeness! I can actually kneel with my knees on the outer edge (cushy) and bend over Lil to play with her, make stupid faces and whatever else will get her to coo and smile. Oh, and also to take pictures… (PS: If you landed here because you googled Woombie — maybe looking for a review of their products in general — then I'll give my opinion. The Woombie zipped swaddler was wonderful. When Lil first got home from the hospital, we tried swaddling the old fashioned way, and she quickly proved herself quite the Houdini. She was also able to escape from the Swaddle Me, and believe it or not the Miracle Blanket. We had received two Woombies at our shower and we gave it a try — she slept for 5 hours straight at 2 weeks old thanks to this product, and she slept long stretches like that consistently every night we used it. Hello, I just wanted to say thank you for the woombies they are great! My daughter was about 3 month old when I got my set and she fit the big baby size, she loved it the moment she was put in it. She was use to a regular swaddle blanket, but I was constantly have to rewrap her in the night as she always got her hands free. It helped her to sleep longer at night from 4 hours to 9 hours now. At 6 months of age she has now out grown the woombies, but I recommend these to everyone I know that is having or has a new baby! Hi Woombie Sales Team, We have 12 week old twins, and we are very pleased with your product. The babies know that it is time for last bottle and bed when we wrap them up in their woombies. They started sleeping 4 hours at a stretch when we began using the woombies at three weeks old. They progressed to sleeping six hours at a stretch. Now they are beginning to sleep 8 hours at a stretch. We were displeased with the swaddling blankets and techniques we tried. I feel the woombies are safer and make it easier to feed the children without layers of blankets getting in the way. I am also pleased that the babies are able to stretch and move inside of them. Our babies are almost able to stand, and can push themselves up and hold their heads up, so the woombies have certainly not hindered their motor development. We have ordered a total of 8 woombies so far. We use them every night and recommend them to all of our friends who are expecting. I have attached pictures of our babies in their woombies. Hi Karen - We received our woombie 2 days ago and I think it is the best invention ever! We used the sleepsack swaddle and it always seemed like we were pulling her in so tight and the velcro seemed uncomfortable and loud. She LOVES the woombie and has been sleeping great in it! She seems to wiggle around and find the perfect position and she's off to sleep. I love how easy it is to use. The material is so soft and it seems comfy and cozy for her. I used the pink one the first night and it took just a little bit for her to get used to, but once asleep only awoke 1x. Last night, to my amazement, she slept THRU THE NIGHT! 8:30-6 for the first time ever. Talk about shocking. :) I woke up in a panic (and soaked with milk for that matter, lol -at 4am!) When I put her in it, she does this little giggle thing, like she knows she is in for a great sleep or something. I may have to get a mega in that one, but think I should try out the mega one I bought first with the stretchier fabric. Probably once she outgrows the original you gave us, it will be time for her to start getting ready to be in transition mode anyway. Dear Madam or Sir, I heard about the woombie (all good things) so I first purchased one on 06/12/09 it came on 06/15/09 and I absoutely love it! :) I ordered the orginal woombie the material is soo nice and soft yet it keeps my little houndi's arms swaddled and allows him to stretch out. He starles easily (and his bedroom is over the kitchen) so he usually only naps for 20 min at a time (prior to the woombie) and wakes up easily. However after the woombie he sleeps for atleast an hour at a time! (today he slept for 4 hours) I can now make some noise because the woombie allows him to sleep more deeply. Unlike a traditional swaddle, he's not crying when we put him in it/wrestling with afterwards. Hi Karen, I just want to thank you for your wonderful customer service and for the terrific products. The new, improved versions of the Woombie are beautifully made, and the organic cotton & bamboo onesie is incredibly soft. Our 2 month old daughter has been sleeping amazingly well in the newborn (long) Woombie. Her nightly swaddling had turned into a drawn-out wrestling match -- wrapping and re-wrapping her multiple times -- but now she wakes up just a couple of times to nurse and then settles right back into a peaceful sleep. We dress her in a long-sleeved onesie and cotton socks before putting on the Woombie, and this keeps our little escape artist settled and comfy. Our son Logan was born 14 weeks early in May at 1lb and 15oz. He spent exactly four months in the NICU and came home in September. In the NICU they had special supports they used to provide boundaries and comfort fo him. When he came home he would not sleep at all and I heard about the Woombie on the justmommies.com message boards. We had been using a Halo sleep sack/swaddler but he would work his arms out of it and end up with it covering his face. This scared me to death due to his respiratory issues. So, as soon as I read about the Woombie I ordered it. I think we ordered it in either October or November. He slept through the night for the first time the first time we put him in it. I tried to put him down for the night w/out the Woombie a week ago and it was awful, he woke several times during the night. I just had to write and tell you how incredible these Woombies are. All of the testimonials are so true. My twins LOVE them! They sleep wonderfully at night and for naps. I have just arrived home from the Australian baby expo after purchasing a woombie and I wanted to write to say that I love my woombie!!! Kathryn is our 3rd baby and I had all but given up on swaddling. Both of my boys before her loved to be swaddled but the swaddle would last about 3 minutes before they would stretch and kick it apart. Not sure if it would work or not I ordered two of them and she has been wearing them since she was minutes old. The nurses loved the Woombie but most of all Katie did. She could kick, fuss but never did it come undone or fall off! She sleeps in it every night and from day one has slept far better then her brothers ever did. Just to put her in it soothes her. I'd like to share this picture of Malcolm in his Woombie. It isn't one of those nice peaceful sleepy baby pictures you've had on your site from time to time...Malcolm seems a bit determined to test his strength whether he is in or out of the Woombie. ( At 5 weeks he can push himself with his legs all the way down his crib if he isn't wearing the Woombie.) But the picture does make me giggle every time I see it! And the Woombie works wonders - regular swaddling just can't hold our little strongman. Malcolm loves his Woombie, even if he does fight it sometimes getting in and out of it (but doesn't scream like he does when you put a shirt over his head.) He always settles right down. I got my Woombie yesterday, used it for the first time last night. . . I don't know how I have lived so long without it!!! Usually, at bedtime I swaddle my little one, feed her and lay her down asleep. She generally fusses though much of this process and if her swaddling comes undone at all (and it ALWAYS does) she doesn't sleep for long. Last night I put her Woombie on, fed her, burped her and layed her down still awake, she seemed so content. . . minutes later she was asleep- and the BEST part is she stayed asleep from 9pm to almost 8am :-) AH! Finally! I've tried other "swaddling" blankets- most of them were a joke - it doesnt take much for a baby to wiggle out of velcro- and for the long babies like mine finding something that will fit can be an issue. His nighttime and naps are undisturbed and peaceful--I truly tell every mother and expectant mother I know this is the "IT" gift! Secondly, your customer service is outstanding! We purchased the old-style newborn woombie and our fast-growing boy needed an upgrade. We then recieved the old-style Big Baby as a gift--LOVED IT! However, at a follow-up wellbaby visit, we learned of our boy was in the 95th percentile for height!! Tall boy needed an upgrade. As you can tell, we LOVE our woombie, so we purchased the newest longer Big Baby. After a week or so, the zipper malfunctioned and your team sent a replacement promptly. No problems since. I do not know what I am going to do when my son grows out of his Woombie. He always wakes up in a good mood & a huge smile on his face but cries every time we put it on him so I thought he did not like his Woombie. This Christmas he was not feeling well, or should I say not digesting well because he was over excited (he was soooo cute). One night I went to bed early and he threw up all over my husband. When my husband told me this I could not sleep and decided to spoil him and have him co-sleep with us (the only way he would sleep before the Woombie). As soon as we took the Woombie off he started fussing and whinning. The only way we could settle him down was by putting him back in his Woombie, consequently in his own bed. Turns out he likes his Woobie much more than we thought. I have attached a picture of him in the morning after restfull night's sleep. Thank you for inventing such a great product! | Hi Karen. We had our baby boy on Saturday! He arrived at 1:10 pm and weighed in at 8 pounds, 4 ounces and was 20.5 inches long. Sorry...no photos yet as I'm still in the hospital. The nurses here at Scripps La Jolla Hospital just *love* your Woombie!! They all talk about how cute my little guy is in your creation! One of the nurses is expecting twins in January and she plans on ordering a few. They all have said that they've seen a lot of "swaddlers" but that yours is the best. Dear KB Designs, We just received our Woombie in the mail this week for our 8 week old son, Daly. We heard about the Woombie from my brother and sister in law in San Francisco – they ordered one for their 3 month old son, Cash and loved it! They said Cash was "sleeping like a king" and we of course were hoping we could get Daly to sleep like one, too! Before the Woombie, we swaddled Daly with receiving blankets. He had been sleeping 3-4 hours, but was always sneaking out of his swaddles when we didn't want him to, which would cause him to stir and wake up. | To whom it may concern, Just a small letter to tell you how pleased I am with the Woombie. My biggest thanks to the AMAZING person who invented it. I don't wish to put photos of my son on the internet but I would be more than happy for you to put this comment on your website. My son, Ryan, is 4 months old and has been wrapped ( swaddled) since birth, he always slept better this way but once he was 6 weeks old and he began to wriggle, he always managed to get free of the blankets I put him in no matter how tight I wrapped him , he would also startle himself when he moved his arms therefore waking him self fully and not drifting back off to sleep unless I rewrapped him. It used to take me so long to get my son to sleep, endless laps of the house in the middle of the night, rocking, singing and patting him on the bottom, finally after 2-3 hours he would drift off to sleep only to be woken by his arms coming free of his blanket when I put him down. My sister in law stumbled across the Woombie on the internet a few weeks ago and sent me the link, as soon as I saw it I thought " how cute" and I bought two big baby Woombies. I didn't realize just how much my son would love sleeping in it and that laps of the house in the middle of the night would become a thing of the past. Sleeping has become much better with the Woombie, as soon as my son is tired I put him in the Woombie and give him his dummy ( pacifier) he settles straight away and does not struggle to get out. Also because he is unable to get his hands free he no longer startles therefore not waking himself but is very happy just to have his hands near his chest. I am also happy with the amount of movement he has regarding his legs, he is able to stretch as much as he likes and I am happy that he wont come free of his covers and his feet wont get cold. I am definitely a satisfied customer and I wish I'd had a Woombie when my son was born, I will definitely be purchasing a smaller Woombie for my next baby then transferring to the bigger one once we out grow the small one. I love my Woombie! Thanks again to the BRILLIANT lady who has come up with this AMAZING creation. I am certain I will get more sleep now. | As I tuck Sam into night four of the Woombie to rest, I realized to find this product we were blessed, We were at the end of our rope we confess, We had a wiggle worm all night and our sleep was messed, As I sit here after a good night of sleep refreshed, I tuck the Miracle Blanket away in the closet to rest!!!!! Seriously though ladies, i think the woombie and a white noise cd is the key to happiness, showering and possibly feeling rested enough to even have sex again. Sam is giving me 5-6 hour stretches, waking up to nurse and going back to sleep. ON HER OWN AND NOT IN MY BED!!!! And,she looks like an adorable little caterpillar in it. If you have, plan to have or are about to have #2, have it ready. It has saved our life. I used the miracle blanket with P and thought it was awesome. I like this product more because it is easier to use, allows them to still move freely and just seems more natural. It is the cocoon swaddling instead of the straightjacket swaddling. | Hi Karen Just want to let you know how much my son Jonathan loves the woombie (and we too) - We received it yesterday and had him try it on and he calmed down right away. Before the woombie, he woke up and cried everytime when he had a reflex and it took me an hour to calm him down. Last night, he only woke up couple times for feedings. Also, he usually cries when he is laying down, but with the woombie, although he still tries to move around he doesn't cry anymore like before! It's amazing! I have to say that I was dreading last night because I figured Cameron was not going to sleep and after realizing that my swaddling Kung-Fu was severely weak I was wondering what was next and I remembered that Angela found these swaddling sacks made out of strechy t-shirt material called Woombies so Grammy got us a couple and I have to say that I was impressed!!!! | I love my Woombie!!! When we started putting down in his own bed (3 months old), he would awaken in a panic every 30-120 minutes. So we then started swadding him in 2 blankets (question of saving a bit of money), but he would wake up every 2-3 hours all cramped up. We would have to unswaddle him and let him thrash around for 10-20 minutes. Within a week of receiving our Woombie Damien was sleeping 9-11 hrs!!! He does not like it when we put it on him but he wakes up every morning with a huge smile on his face. We have tried to put him to bed without it but he wakes up within an hour or two and we have to put it on . Thank you so much for the woombie! My twins were constantly coming out of their blankets and other swaddling contraptions... they would wake up every time! They were waking up every 2 hrs all night long. The woombie is a lifesavor! Now that they are comfortably, snuggled tightly in their woombie they sleep 8-9 hrs straight everynight! I now give this to all my friends and recommend it to everyone. My 4 week old baby has her days and nights mixed up and hates to be swaddled. She wants to be up and ready to go most nights from 8:30pm - 1:00am and then sleep all day. I got my Woombie in the mail yesterday and tried it out. I have to admit I didn't have too much hope because she slept all day long so I was planning for a long night again. She woke up at 9:00 and was wide awake. I put her in the Woombie and nursed her and she was out. She slept all night long except when she woke up to eat and then right back to sleep. My daughter woke up three to four times a night breaking out of her swaddle blanket. At about 6 weeks i heard of the woombie on babycenter.com. Since the very day i got it my daughter slept the whole night. She goes down at about 7 or 8 and sleeps through til 6 or 7. At about 4 months she outgrew her woombie but we only had a rough night that very first non-woombie night. She has continued to sleep beautifully! Shayna is 10 lbs 8 ozs here. Her daddy especially likes the woombie. He was having a tough time wrapping her tight in the different swaddles including those with the velcro, especially at those night feedings when there isn't much light. I absolutely love the woombie. I have the big baby woombie in yellow and just received the new and improved one in pink. The woombie was recommended to me and as soon as I put my daughter Mikaela, who was about 8 weeks at the time, she slept 7+ hours. She is now 12 weeks and is sleeping 10+ hours at night. She also takes long naps in it for me. I can not say enough wonderful things about the woombie. I now recommend it to all I know who have infants or are expecting. Thank you so much for coming up with this product! We've used it two nights now and our 3 mo old slept through the night for the first time last night. Despite my best efforts she would continually escape from her swaddling blanket and then startle herself awake. No such problem with this one though and its so much easier than the whole ordeal of swaddling. I wish I had found these earlier so that I could have saved myself the energy invested in swaddling a screaming newborn. I was skeptical if this blanket would contain this wild girl, but it did so, AND allowed her to have a great range of motion as well. I'm sure Tascia told you how hooked I am on them...I am so happy Tascia ended up connecting with you b/c I would have never had the chance to try one and truly they have been a Godsend... We stopped swaddling our daughter Addison at about 10 weeks so I didn't think the Woombie would be helpful. For the last 3 months she has been sleeping in a swing due to some allergy/reflux issues. Despite all our efforts she has not slept on a flat surface since then...that is until I tried the Woombie last Tuesday!! She has slept in the cosleeper every nite since and is only waking 1x a nite - thank you thank you thank you!! I have been telling everyone I meet about them. Hello Karen, I ordered a smaller Woombie from you for our first baby and we were incredibly impressed with what a big difference the Woombie made in helping her fall asleep and more important, in how long she stayed asleep! She used to wake herself up with the reflexive arm movements and with the Woombie that never happened. We got at least an extra hour, sometimes two or more, with the Woombie. Plus, our girl is a squirmer, and she would often undo her swaddling blanket so that she was left uncovered and sometimes pulled it over her head. Even with other swaddlers (like the kiddopotamus brand), she would find a way to get her arms out and that made them very dangerous, since she was half- in and half out. This was never a problem with the Woombie. She outgrew her smaller Woombie last month and we've now got her in your larger size. It's still working wonders - she sleeps 5-8 hours a night and has a comfortable rest. I just wanted to say thank-you for thinking of this product and offering it to other parents. I'm so glad I stumbled across it when I was looking for alternatives to swaddling! I hope you are able to expand so that the Woombie is offered in national stores - everyone should know about it! PS You should contact the people who publish Baby Bargains - I and many other first-time parents used that book like a bible and wish they had listed the Woombie in there as an option. Riley has to be swaddled or she'll wake herself up with any sudden movement. I would try to get the blanket swaddled super tight but sometimes she'd still get out of it. I went online for tips on swaddling and to see if there were any swaddle blankets out there that I didn't already know about. Well....there were, I came across the WOOMbie. It's voted "Top Choice" so I went to the site to check it out. I saw it and thought, "Why didn't I think of that?...Duh!" It's so nice because they don't get too hot, they can still stretch if they want but at the same time still feel secure and snug as if still in the Womb, hence, the name WOOMbie! It's great, I don't leave home without it. For all my friends who are expecting...take note, this will probably be my gift to you! Hi Woombie Inventors! We found the Woombie after Noah grew out of the newborn sleepsacks with swaddle wings and found out there are no sacks with the swaddle wings beyond 12 pounds. We were dumbfounded as to what to do because the swaddle blankets would inevitably move over his face as he wriggled around during sleep, yet he needed to be swaddle to sleep. After a bit of Internet surfing the Woombie website was found and seemed like a possible solution. Indeed it was! The Woombie is great overnight as well as napping in the swing. As little Noah gets to be big chubby curious Noah we have found that he also breastfeeds better in it as his Woombie instantly relaxes him and stops him from squirming. The Woombie also allows him enough movement to get his little fingers out of the top and self sooth back to sleep by sucking on them at night. Thanks Woombie creators! We are on our fourth Woombie now and we love them. We wish they made them for grown ups! In part thanks to Woombie we sleep through the night now. The Forseters! |

Here are some pictures of my daughter Ellie in her new Big Baby Woombie. She is 3 months old.I bought the Woombie because she was very rapidly growing out of her receiving blankets and she still likesto be swaddled in order to sleep.Overall, this product is wonderful- Ellie has been sleeping through the nightever since we got it. She loves being in it. However she has figured out how to get her arms out through the neckopening. If you'd ever met her you would understand why!!
